AI Interview Disclosure

The Mock Interview is for practice only

Expert Management Group, based in Schaumburg, Illinois, offers a Mock Interview through Interview Machine. An AI interviewer asks questions out loud, listens to your spoken answers, and then a written coaching report is produced from the transcript.

The Mock Interview is for practice only. It is not a job application. It is not a hiring process. No hiring, screening, ranking, shortlisting, pass, fail, or other employment decision is made from this tool - by us, by an employer, or by the software.

A score on the report is a rehearsal note for you. It is not attached to any application and it is not sent to employers as a hiring verdict.

Nothing you do in a Mock Interview decides whether anyone is hired. We do not select, screen, rank, shortlist, or reject people with this product. No recruiter uses your session to judge you for a role. If you later apply for a job with us or with anyone else, that process is separate, handled by people, and how you did here plays no part in it.

Treat the report as a mirror for your answers, not a verdict on whether you will get a job.

What the Mock Interview is. You speak with software, not a person. It appears as an animated avatar, asks planned questions, listens, and may ask one follow-up. If you ask whether you are talking to an AI, you will be told that you are.

You provide a job description and your resume so the practice is aimed at the kind of role you are preparing for. A small panel of AI interviewers is available. Which face or voice you get does not change how the report is scored. They follow the same structure. The assessment is built from the written transcript, not from how the avatar looks.

What your report covers. After the session you can open a written report. Competencies are scored from 1 to 10 only when that area came up in enough detail. If an area was not covered, it is marked Not scored. A blank is not a low score.

• Technical

• Management

• Leadership

• Culture fit (how you described working with other people, not a judgment of personality or background)

• Experience

• Education

The report may also include a summary, what you did well, where answers could be stronger, tips, and suggested follow-up questions.

Scoring uses the written transcript of what you said about your work. It does not score appearance, facial expression, body language, tone of voice, accent, or speaking pace. None of those are used as a hiring signal, because this tool does not make hiring decisions.

What is and is not recorded. Video is not recorded. There is no video file to watch later, because none is created. Your camera may stay on so the session feels like a live call. Video remains on your device. We do not keep a copy.

What can be kept is a written transcript of what was said, plus the coaching report built from that transcript. Audio is processed live so the interviewer can hear you and so that transcript can be produced.

Illinois law. We operate this Mock Interview from Illinois. The following is a plain-language notice for people who practice with us here. It is not legal advice.

All-party consent for audio (Illinois Eavesdropping Act, 720 ILCS 5/14). Illinois generally requires the consent of all parties before a conversation is recorded or intercepted. Before a Mock Interview starts, you must confirm that you consent to live audio processing for the session and a written summary. If you do not consent, do not start the interview.

Artificial Intelligence Video Interview Act (820 ILCS 42). Illinois requires employers who ask applicants to record video interviews and who use AI to analyze those videos for Illinois-based jobs to: tell the applicant before the interview that AI may be used; explain how the AI works and what kinds of characteristics it uses; and obtain consent before the interview. An employer may not use AI to evaluate an applicant who has not consented. On request, copies of an applicant video must be deleted, including backups, within 30 days.

This Mock Interview is not an employer video-interview used to decide fitness for a job. We still tell you how the AI works:

• AI asks spoken questions and follows a planned competency structure.

• Your spoken answers are turned into text.

• The report scores only that text (what you said about your work), on a 1-10 scale, or leaves an area unscored.

• AI does not analyze your video, face, or appearance. Video is not stored.

• The output is coaching for practice. No employment decision is made.

You consent on the intake screen before audio is processed. You may stop at any time.

Biometric Information Privacy Act (740 ILCS 14). We do not collect, store, or sell biometric identifiers such as a face geometry scan or a voiceprint used to identify you. The camera feed is not saved. Voice is used to produce a transcript, not to enroll a biometric template.

If you want your stored transcript and report deleted, email the contact below. We will delete that practice data, including backups we control, within 30 days. You do not need to give a reason.

Your information. We do not use Mock Interview transcripts, resumes, or scores to advertise to you. We do not sell them. We do not pass them to employers as a hire or reject file. We keep them so you (and, for paid members, your history page) can see practice attempts, and so we can send you the report you asked for.

The free Mock Interview is about three minutes. The paid session is about thirty minutes and goes further into the competencies. A short pass cannot cover every topic. Unscored areas are gaps in that conversation, not a decision about you.
